Dr Tim O’Leary – Director

Tim is a passionate educator focussed on using the best available evidence to improve student outcomes through improved teacher practice. Having worked in education, in both the state and independent sectors, for the best part of 20 years Tim is an accomplished and well regarded teacher. In addition to his work as a classroom teacher Tim has also held leadership roles focussed on transforming teacher practice and leading strategic change to improve student learning outcomes. In addition to his work as a teacher Tim has completed his PhD in Education under the guidance of Professor John Hattie and Professor Patrick Griffin. He has also presented at numerous conferences on the use of data in its varied forms within schools to improve teaching practice and student learning. The use of students’ perceptions to inform teacher improvement has been an area of interest for Tim since 2007.
